6/29/19 - Dover, TN

We got a site at Land Between the Lakes – Piney Campground.  This is where a molded fiberglass rally is held every year.  We were scheduled to attend once but mom fell out of her wheelchair and was lifeflighted to the medical center in Houston.  On the way here we stopped in Clarksville and went to Kroger.  Next to Kroger was Screaming Eagle Brewing. We had a beer and found out it was their 1^st anniversary.  They had cupcakes and were giving away koozies.  Then we went to Fort Donelson National Battlefield.  This was the site of an 1862 Civil War battle won by General Grant.  He captured two Confederate forts and took control of the Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers for the Union..
